All exercises are specially designed for mums accompanied by their babies in a Buggy. All fitness levels catered for and many exercises involve using the static Buggy to enable mum to interact with her baby.
The session will cater for a range of fitness levels and alternatives to exercises will be given. However only you know how you feel so please listen to your body. Sleep deprivation and hormone changes can make you more susceptible to injury so if you need to miss a session or take a breather, please do so. You can always meet us afterwards. Dads, carers with babies/toddlers also welcome.
The class will help mums to regain fitness and prepare them physically for the demands of motherhood. The exercises will help you burn fat, tone specific muscle groups and improve posture. Buggy fitness welcomes all mums, dads, carers who want to improve strength and fitness or loose a bit of weight. You will be in the company of others who will have similar goals to you.
You must have been signed off by your GP as being fit to exercise following the birth of your baby. This is normally around six weeks after giving birth. If your GP advises any restrictions on your exercising you must inform me before each class.
We meet a few minutes before the class start. If it's your first time please arrive around 15 mins before the class so you can register and complete a simple health questionnaire
You will not need to bring any special equipment.
